On Monday, October 14, a round table was held on the topic of "International and public-state support for Ukrainian youth during the war." During the event, current problems of youth during the war were raised with the aim of overcoming existing problems. Students of the Department of International Relations also took part in the event, who noted the importance of raising such an important topic.
"I met with representatives of various structures, organizations, as well as active youth in the region. The "round table" is a serious event, which was also attended by specialists from other countries, who explained in accessible language the system of support for youth, which operates in modern realities in other countries in relation not only to Ukrainian refugees, but also for other links of the population affected by the current crisis. The topic of interaction of local government systems with civilian youth in the context of general unawareness in connection with the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and dissemination of information about the opportunities that modern youth have, but which they cannot use due to ignorance, as well as the procedure for supporting young people who, for one reason or another, went abroad, but want to interact and help in different areas within Ukraine, was also raised. I am very pleased with the content of the topic of the "round table", as well as the professional approach to its organization," said fourth-year student Denis Bagin.

"Thank you for the opportunity to be part of the round table! It was a pleasure to communicate with the participants and discuss different ways to solve important issues concerning youth. As a representative of the younger generation, I am especially pleased that our university shows such a deep interest in the topic of "youth policy". This shows that we are on the right track, and there are real opportunities to influence the future of our country! I hope that such events will continue, because they create an important platform for the exchange of ideas and experiences!" - said second-year student Alisa Kirichenko.

"The round table was a success, bringing together representatives from different spheres of public life. It is especially worth noting the invited guests from abroad, among whom were former students who are now actively involved in international projects, because their experience and view of the situation in Ukraine are becoming extremely important for understanding support at the international level and prospects for the development of youth initiatives. The presence of speakers from different spheres contributed to covering the situation from different angles, providing, among other things, an opportunity for further cooperation. The topic of the round table itself was relevant, such a discussion opens up new opportunities for supporting young people in this difficult time, which is important not only at the local but also at the international level," shared second-year student Anastasia Bilan.

"The measure taken demonstrated important activity: representatives of local government, education workers and concerned youth are interested in discussing and further solving the problems of youth. It is with dialogue that fundamental impulses begin on the path to overcoming the obstacles that the youth of Ukraine has been forced to face in our time. It is very pleasant that our native Dnipro National University named after Oles Honchar became the venue for a round table on such a topic. Thanks to the involvement of professional teachers, figures of various cultural and mass activities and foreign representatives associated with our Alma mater, it was possible to share the necessary views of different parties, which will help to develop a certain resolution taking into account many nuances. I consider it necessary to hold such conversations in the future," concluded first-year student Dmitry Krivchenko.
